Junior Challenge (all ages)

Just like adults, kids also need to grow closer to Christ. This is one of the most important and rewarding parts of parenting—watching your children come to know and love their Maker. As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” 

Children are a ministry, and The Junior Challenge is one way to intentionally invest in that calling. Through this challenge, kids will grow in their faith alongside a parent or guardian by:

  • 40 miles in 40 days together—one mile at a time, one day at a time.
  • entire book of John, following along with the same daily scripture as the adult challenge.
  • kid-friendly faith challenges that put the Word into action—whether it’s sharing kindness at school, praying for a friend, or memorizing verses.

Each day is simple but powerful. Just one mile, one short reading, and one meaningful challenge to remind your child (and yourself!) to put Jesus first.

You can start the Junior Challenge at the same time as the adult challenge or begin when your child receives their medal in the mail. Either way, this is an opportunity to connect as a family and build daily habits that center on Christ.

***This challenge is meant to do with a guardian participating in The Forty Forty Challenge 2025 or just a guardian that is there to assist. There is not an accountability group for this age group at this time.

Forty forty challenge

This has been an amazing challenge to do with my younger sons and help bring us not only closer to each other but to God. They enjoyed doing this together and were excited to receive a tshirt and medal as a completion prize. We loved that we could do this challenge at our own pace and were not confined to completing it under strict time constraints. We highly recommend this challenge and look forward to our next challenge!

Happy but a little confused about product

I purchased the Adult package with Tshrit for myself and husband to share and then realized that there was a children's product for my kiddo to also follow along and participate- I didnt realize that although the same price it was the exact SAME materials! I feel a little cheated by this because I could have copied the same materials as mine and my husbands. The other materials that came with the children's package seemed very minimal for the price. Overall though I was very happy with the experience. The quality of the products and presentation I did receive were amazing and I felt challenged and motivated to strengenthen my relationship this season with Jesus. Thank you!
