This challenge was incredible. It was my first time reading through a whole book in the Bible. Breaking it down over 40 days and having a whole group to talk to made it easier to understand. This challenge helped keep me accountable for walking/exercising and even when I was behind, I felt only encouragement to make up what I missed when I could. I felt God's mercy and grace and in that, I learned to give myself a little grace as well. I highly recommend this challenge!!!
I really did enjoy the challenge. It helped me get back on target with my walking and reading my Bible. I have continued to walk and started reading another book of the Bible.
Just started my fitness journey and this was the perfect combination of encouragement, study, and inspiration to stay consistent on the Word and in my daily walks.
I found this challenge on Facebook. It’s one of the best things that I’ve ever started and been a part of. Forty Forty has impacted me in so many ways I cannot express. My walk with Christ has been needing an accountability check and this challenge delivers on it all. What an opportunity and I am so grateful and thankful to the family that made this possible! I cannot wait to do another Forty Forty challenge! What an inspiring and beautiful way to celebrate you and Christ with your own time together. Absolutely love it.
I got this for my wife and she loved it! She did a mile plus every day. We had a few family adventures too. People asked if she would continue to post Bible verses after the challenge.
When we set out to do the 40 miles in 40 days challenge I was thinking it would be easy and fun. And while it had its fun moments it was anything but easy. We met at 7:30pm mostly every day we read our Bible passage and walked/jogged our mile.
Days 1-10: started strong, we were feeling great and even challenged each other to be better and do better. 🏃♀️ John is funny.
Day 20: those of us with any previous joint injuries were all hurting about now, some facing medical problems, some needing surgery, some needing braces, tape, and ice 🧊. But we still kept going. 🤕 🩼 John is detailed in the words Jesus said but vague in everything else.
Day 30: the worst is over but we are TIRED, and are now walking at 8pm instead of 7:30, it’s too hot. 🥵 we are ready for this challenge to be done. Focus on the finish line. 🏁
While this started as a women’s event. And while us women have enjoyed our time together 40 days together we have gotten to know each other better and pray with and for each other. We got to know John in ways we never knew before. We brought our kids and our husbands, in our daily walk with Jesus. And while we think we do this daily, this actually made us set time aside to spend just on this task alone. We shared this with each other, our families and friends. And we felt the attack of Satan as we did this challenge. We want to do this again. It was well worth it to reap all the benefits that came with this challenge.
My daughter and I did it together to support each other and on days we couldn't we doubled up the next!
I absolutely LOVED this challenge. It was my first one, and though I was a little off the challenges (mostly walking), I really enjoyed it. The T-shirt is very comfy and has started some conversations. The badge is a reminder to me. ***** Can't wait for the next challenge 😁
I’ve been a Christian my whole life but I never read the Bible or learned how to really connect with Jesus. This challenge has strengthened my faith and created a wonderful habit of connecting with the Lord daily! I will definitely be doing more challenges in the future!!
This was my second Forty Forty challenge. I did the late summer challenge last year. I loved reading the book of John! And I loved using the journal pages! I didn’t use them on last years challenge. They made this challenge so much better!! Can’t wait to do it again next year!!
I am signed up for July 14th challenge however I cannot locate my order # to join accountability group. The shirt is fab as is the literature provided. God bless. Pls send order no.
We cannot answer that through here, but you can email us at fortyfortychallenge@gmail.com and we can help you out!
The most amazing thing I did this year was I started going to church and I bought this Challenge. I actually didn't know how to study the Bible or really pray. I have stage 4 cancer. Im in remission, but that .means you still have cancer, but its not active. If I did not start this challenge of walking i would have not walked the trails on our vacation. I had lost 12 pds of unwanted weight. I bought Genesis and Exodus to keep going in faith and health. I actually saw a family in my church wearing the shirts and I ran up to them and said" I just started the challenge!" They had already done there's in the spring. But I was thrilled to see the shirts on someone else. Thank you for your ingenious idea. I hope you come up with more studies. If you don't know where to start like I didn't, this challenge is excellent. Its like a double bonus. Jesus and your health!
I joined this group and have already received my shirt and all. However, I never received anything else because I deleted my messenger app.
Make sure to scan the QR code in your medal box and in your pamphlet, that will answer all your questions.
I really enjoyed this challenge for so many reasons. After having two children in the last year, focusing on the book of John every single morning walking with my babies was exactly what I needed at this point in my life. The guides and Facebook group were so motivating and I loved keeping this challenge at the center of our mornings the last 40 days. This made it easy to find a little joy in the chaos that is our day to day here on earth and I’m grateful. Thus couldn’t have come at a better time for me.
I’ve said it over and over—a mile a day might not seem like much, but when it’s not part of your usual routine, it takes real determination. Coming out of a long season of doing the bare minimum just to get by, I knew something had to change. This year, I gave it to God. And in return, I found joy again—joy in life, in work, in staying busy, and most of all, in thriving.
The Forty Forty Challenge has been a total game changer. It pushed me to stay positive, stay connected, and most importantly, to feel my purpose again. I fall off the wagon a lot. I struggle with follow-through. But not this time. I never gave up.
Every day, I read the verses and then went even deeper. I filled out the journal pages, completed the challenges, and walked my mile. I stayed on track, and that sense of consistency built a confidence I didn’t know I needed.
If you're looking for something to reignite your spirit, hold you accountable, and help you reconnect with your purpose—this is it. I highly recommend the Forty Forty Challenge to anyone ready to take a small but powerful step toward something bigger
This journey was amazing, the challenges the readings. Staying in touch with the other forty forty challengers on Facebook. It kept.me grounded wanting to learn more about GOD. Since I started this journey I have started listening to the Bible on through the word app. I listen to alot of Christian music now
This has helped me come closer to god and his word. I ready for the next forty forty challenge.
