Forty Forty Junior · Matthew · 2027
Some of the sweetest conversations happen on a walk. This year, open Matthew with your child and make room for those moments—one day at a time.
Let’s do Junior together →40 days with Jesus · Starts February 10, or begin on your own

Their very own walk with Jesus
Just like adults, kids need time to grow closer to Christ. Watching your children come to know and love their Maker is one of the most rewarding parts of parenting. Junior gives you a simple place to start together.
The printed pamphlet guides you through 40 days of readings and kid-friendly faith challenges. Read alongside your child and leave room for their questions.
Walk or run one mile a day together. If a mile isn’t possible, 20 minutes of another exercise counts, too. Go at your family’s pace.
They’re right inside the pamphlet this year. There’s a sticker sheet, too—a little fun to enjoy along the way as your child spends time in His Word.
When those 40 days are finished, celebrate with their resurrection medal. It’s something they can hold onto long after the challenge is over.

A big reminder for little hearts
The 2027 double-sided medal celebrates the resurrection, with Matthew 28:6 on the back. As your child reads through Matthew, you can talk about the story behind the medal they’re working toward.
Each medal comes with its own protective box, ready for that proud “I did it!” moment.

For the grown-ups walking beside them
Children are a ministry, and this is one way to intentionally invest in that calling. A walk can become a chance to listen. A reading can open a conversation you didn’t know your child needed.
Each day is simple but powerful: time together that reminds your child—and you—to put Jesus first.
“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6
A few things parents ask
Start with us on February 10, 2027, alongside the adult Lent/Easter challenge, or begin when your child receives their kit. You’ll spend 40 days going through Matthew together.
Kids of all ages, with a parent or guardian beside them. Help with the readings and adapt the daily activities to your child. This is about growing together, not keeping up with anyone else.
You’re welcome to join the adult Forty Forty Challenge 2027 alongside them, or simply be there to help. There is no separate accountability group for children.
Twenty minutes of another exercise counts, too. Choose movement that works for your child and enjoy that time together.
