Junior Acts: growing closer to Jesus, together.

Just like adults, kids also need to grow closer to Christ. This is one of the most important and rewarding parts of parenting—watching your children come to know and love their Maker. As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Children are a ministry, and the Junior Acts Challenge is one way to intentionally invest in that calling. Kids grow in their faith alongside a parent or guardian through 40 days of Scripture, movement, and simple ways to put the Word into action.

Walk 40 miles in 40 days together—one mile at a time, one day at a time. If a mile isn’t possible, spend 20 minutes doing another activity that works for your child, such as biking. Make it a time to connect as a family.

Read through the entire book of Acts, following the same daily Scripture as our adult Acts Challenge. Then try a kid-friendly faith challenge, whether it’s sharing kindness at school, praying for a friend, or memorizing verses.

Each day is simple but powerful. Movement, a short reading, and one meaningful challenge remind your child (and yourself!) to put Jesus first.

Start whenever your family is ready. You can do Junior Acts alongside the adult Acts Challenge or with a parent or guardian there to help. This is our original Junior Challenge 2026 with the same readings and materials, now called Junior Acts. It’s an opportunity to connect as a family and build daily habits that center on Christ.
